28/01/2021: Regional Championship Information

IMPORTANT REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION:

Good luck to all 115 athletes competing over the weekend at regional championships! Please read info below:

- Event is held at our club, Windsor Park
- Time table and program can be found via the banner on the home and the dedicated page here
- Ensure you aim to arrive an hour before each event, allow time for parking and warming up.
- Events can be brought forward up to 30 minutes early- will update everyone through Facebook and results HQ if events are running early.
- Athletes must wear the FULL City North uniform including bike pants/shorts, polo, age patch, coles patch and rego number. If you are missing any of these things you can head to the clubhouse tonight at training to collect.
- Canteen will be open over the three days so make sure you support our club!
- The top 4 from each event will make it into state championships held in March. (Only ages U9+)
- Results are posted to a Facebook page called “ LAQ Met North Region Results “ please go and like/follow this page so you can keep up with the results throughout the day. There are lots of events that have heats and finals, you will need to check if athletes have a “Q” next to their name to see if they need to race again in the final.
- Last training session is tonight at 5:45pm!

Please sign up for a volunteer role in the previous post. At regional relays we had a few parents that ended up missing their kids events because we didn’t get enough helpers. You can choose a slot that isn’t at the same time your athletes compete so please sign up!
