Regional Relay Information

IMPORTANT REGIONAL RELAY INFORMATION:

- This Saturday the 7th of November is the big day! Our club will be hosting the event this year at our oval.
- Athletes MUST arrive an hour before their first event. Events can be brought forward up to half an hour so please ensure you allow enough time for warm up, finding a park ect.
- All athletes MUST wear the full City North uniform; this includes the polo shirt, bike pants/shorts and all patches (rego number on front of shirt, age patch on side of arm, coles badge on chest) we will have spares for anyone who is missing these but please try to grab anything you need at the uniform shop tonight.
- There must not be any logos showing if athletes are wearing bike pants under then city north shorts. Please wear them inside out or you will not be permitted to race. Any bike pants must be black, no other colours are allowed.
- When arriving at the club please find the City North tent and “check in” with Amy or Will. You will receive a sticker to put on your shirt that states your track events and leg of the relay you are running.
- PARENTS: it is your responsibility to look after your child/ren for the day and ensure they are on time to marshalling for events. Please listen out for the calls to know when to head to marshalling for track events, and to the area for field events.
- we require volunteers throughout the day for the canteen or timing/place judging races. Please sign up for this as the races won’t go ahead unless parents volunteer. It is not all day, an hour session so can fit it in between your child’s events.
- if anyone requires a clash form (two events on at the same time) please see Amy.
- Please remember this is a TEAM event, we understand that injuries and illnesses happen so please if you can not compete anymore contact Amy ASAP on 0423667294 so she can find a replacement.
- for anyone not doing athletics and the U6s, we will not be holding our normal competition that day due to relays.

Final relay training on tonight at 5:45pm
